The health and welfare of your cat is our priority during their stay with us. It is our aim is to build a trusting relationship with your cat and do everything we can to make them feel comfortable and at home.
We understand that every cat is different and we listen carefully to the needs and requirements of our customers, both human and feline, so as to accommodate each individual as best we can.
It is the requirement of Hart District Council that cats cannot be admitted without an up to date vaccination certificate showing they are immunised against ‘cat flu’ and Feline Enteritis. We will keep the certificate on the premises until you return.
We are unable to accept un-neutered cats over 6 months old.
Leafy Oak Farm Cattery prides itself on its level of hygiene and we have a daily cleaning regime that ensures that all the pens are thoroughly cleaned every morning and monitored throughout the day.
Food and Drink
We provide Felix, Felix As Good As It Looks and Whiskas wet food and variety of Royal Canin dried food which is fed to the cats twice daily, unless you have a special request.
If your cat is on a specialist diet, or has a preference for food that we do not stock, we will ask you to provide enough food to cover their whole stay.
All water bowls are clean and re-filled with fresh water throughout the day.
Medication
We are happy to administer medicines orally or into food. We do not charge extra for this service.
Please contact us to discuss your cat’s particular requirements before booking them in with us.
Sorry but we currently cannot administer medicines via injections.
Illness
In the unlikely event that your cat requires a visit to the vets, we will aim to take your cat to its registered vet practice however when this is not possible, i.e. in an emergency and/or due to distance, we will take your cat to our local vet practice.
We will communicate with you if we have any concerns about your cat while they are with us.
