How to find us
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By booking to board your cat(s) with us, you will have accepted the following terms & conditions.
Charges are calculated daily, starting with the day of arrival and including the day of departure. The minimum fee for a short stay is 3 days boarding.
1 cat £14.00 per day
A non-returnable £30 deposit is required to confirm your booking
We accept cash, cheque, debit and credit card payments. Payment of the balance is due on or before the date of collection. If you collect your cat earlier than the departure date booked, we will charge for the total period booked.
Please ensure you book for the maximum period required. During busy periods we may not have space to ‘hold over’ a cat for longer than booked. We understand that delayed flights etc are beyond your control and will always do our best to accommodate your pet until you can arrange collection.
Cancellations must be received in writing at least two weeks before the start of your stay (four weeks at Christmas) otherwise the full fee become payable. If we are able to re-let some or all of the cancelled booking a reduced charge may be made.
Monday to Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
Please note we are closed to visitors on ALL Public Holidays and on Christmas Eve
We respectfully request that all visitors to Leafy Oak Farm Cattery refrain from stroking or petting any of the resident animals. This is to protect our residents from potential external infection and to protect our visitors from injury.
A valid up to date vaccination certificate against Feline Influenza and Feline Enteritis must be presented on arrival day. Primary vaccination must not have been administered any less than two weeks prior to boarding in order to protect our other residents from possible infection. There will be no exceptions to this rule.
Fleas and worms
We request that all cats are treated against flea infestation and worms BEFORE arrival. We reserve the right to administer treatment to any resident cat found to have flea infestation or worms during their stay. The cost of treatment will be charged to the owner.
Male cats over the age of six months who are not neutered cannot be accepted for boarding, as they could present an infection hazard to other resident cats.
We are happy to administer medication, excluding injections, which have been prescribed by a vet provided full and clear instructions are left by the owner. There is no charge for this service.
No cat suffering from, or suspected to be suffering from, an infectious or contagious disease will be accepted. All cats will be inspected on arrival, but we reserve the right to refuse admission to any cat showing signs of ill health pending advice from our veterinary surgeon. This is essential in order to protect and safeguard the health of other resident cats. Veterinary services will be arranged should this be necessary during your cat's stay. If you prefer your cat to be seen by your usual vet, please discuss this with us prior to arrival.
Whilst every care and precaution is taken to safeguard the health and wellbeing of all cats, they are boarded entirely at the owner's own risk. If any animal is not collected within 14 days of the stated departure date and no communication is received either from the owner or their agent, we reserve the right to re-home or dispose of the animal.
